Civil Engineering Manager

Lead and manage civil engineering activities related to power and energy projects, ensuring timely and quality completion aligned with project objectives and budget.

Coordinate with design teams to review and validate civil drawings, structural designs, and specifications to meet engineering standards and project requirements.

Oversee site execution including foundation work, structural erection, concreting, and finishing works with a focus on safety, quality, and environmental compliance.

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and ensure resources, materials, and manpower are adequately planned and deployed.

Monitor and enforce compliance with statutory regulations, safety norms, and Adani's internal policies to foster a safe and sustainable work environment.

Collaborate closely with procurement, contracts, and vendor management teams to ensure timely availability of materials and services.

Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify risks, deviations, and implement corrective action plans to mitigate project delays and cost overruns.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site staff, enhancing team capability and knowledge sharing.

Prepare and present comprehensive progress reports, project documentation, and status updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives for construction methodologies and processes to optimize efficiency and quality standards.

Facilitate effective communication between internal departments, external contractors, consultants, and government authorities.

Support commissioning activities and ensure civil works are completed as per final project requirements and quality benchmarks.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in civil engineering design software such as AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, or equivalent.

In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and quality standards.

Familiarity with project management tools like MS Project or Primavera.

Understanding of statutory codes, regulations, and standards applicable to power/energy sector projects.

Competence in interpreting structural drawings, technical specifications, and contract documents.

Ability to conduct site inspections, quality audits, and risk assessments effectively.
