Responsibilities:
• Lead the mechanical engineering of process and utility packages (e.g. water packages, gas packages, ASUs, process exhaust, PUW, ETP, STP, HVAC, etc.) in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with engineering/EPC suppliers/consultants for project-related activities to ensure timely completion of design and engineering of all types of mechanical equipment.
• Have good knowledge of developing plant layout at concept stage and detail engineering stage.
• Knowledge of metallic and non-metallic piping systems including high purity and ultra high purity services.
• Review of engineering design basis/tender specifications/technical bid evaluations/post order vendor print review and approvals of all types of mechanical equipment. Preparation/review of as built engineering documents of the equipment/packages.
• Multidisciplinary coordination with civil, electrical, and control & instrumentation team for the finalization of design and engineering activities.
• Candidate shall have previous exposure to engineering of utility projects and shall have good knowledge of international codes and standards.
• Exposure to latest engineering software like PV Lites, AutoCAD, SP3D, PDS, RAVIT, etc. is desirable.
• Coordination with site commissioning & erection team, resolving engineering issues, design change notes review on site in line with the discussions with OEM/engineering consultants/process licensors, etc.
• Completing quality assurance on all engineering deliverables and their implementations in projects, and weekly/fortnight/monthly engineering progress reports.
• Ensuring all deadlines and budgetary requirements are met.
• Adopt robust safety practice while selection of mechanical equipment to avoid any consequences at site.
• Follow the schedule and share the progress MIS to senior management.
• Lead and drive to achieve the targets.
• To provide training and support to site team & GETs.
• Safety awareness and implementation.
• Familiar with HSE, QMS, HAZOP, safety studies, and value engineering.
• Follow necessary compliances as per HSE/QMS guideline.
• Facilitates necessary support during statutory approvals from authorities.

Qualifications:
Educational Qualification: B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical with 10-15 years of experience preferably of utilities packages of large scale solar projects/semiconductor or equivalent industry background, to drive the mechanical design and engineering as per the set targets with safety and quality.
