We are seeking a Wire Harness Engineer with a strong electrical engineering background to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and routing complex automotive-grade harnesses, utilizing advanced tools and technologies. This role requires integration of electronic and hardware components, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Design and route extremely complex automotive-grade wire harnesses with multiple branches and splices.
• Utilize Zuken software for building databases and creating detailed harness drawings.
• Integrate electronic and hardware components to ensure seamless functionality.
• Understand and apply knowledge of automotive-grade connectors, CAN network, and Automotive Ethernet.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets all specifications.

Essential Skills:

• Extensive experience in wire harness design and engineering.
• Strong expertise in electrical engineering principles, specifically related to harness engineering.
• Proficiency with Zuken software for database management and drawing creation.
• Excellent understanding of automotive-grade connectors and CAN protocol.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with Automotive Ethernet is a bonus.
• Willingness to work Pacific time zone hours or currently residing in the Pacific time zone.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract position based out of Mountain View, CA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
