Validation Engineer

The Validation Engineer will provide expertise and guidance throughout the equipment design, software design, build, debug, and qualification phases of various projects. The role involves developing document templates tailored to customer SOPs, writing project quality plans concerning validation scopes, and reviewing qualification packages for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with validation policies. This position also requires overseeing and executing validation qualifications both at our facility and on the customer's site, supporting all aspects of the Validation life cycle from design through operation and improvement.

Responsibilities

1. Provide validation experience and guidance during equipment design, software design, build, debug, and qualification phases.
2. Develop document templates tailored to customer SOPs.
3. Write overall project quality plans concerning validation scopes.
4. Review qualification/requalification packages for completeness and accuracy, ensuring compliance with validation policies.
5. Oversee and execute validation qualifications at our facility and at the customer's site.
6. Support all aspects of the Validation life cycle, from design through operation and improvement.

Essential Skills

• Validation experience with a minimum of 3 years performing validation activities.
• Custom engineering experience, particularly in Medical Devices or Life Sciences.
• PLC experience, preferably with Rockwell Automation PLC Control Systems.
• Experience working with electrical design drawings.
• Experience in a GAMP 5 based validation model.
• Script writing skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering, Life Sciences, or Electrical/Controls Engineering.
• Experience debugging and working with custom machines.
• Can be someone with internships.

Work Environment

The position requires minimal travel, with a maximum of 5%. Working hours range from 40-45 hours per week, with the possibility of starting as early as 7 AM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pickens, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $125000.00/hr.
