The position of Tooling Engineer offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-volume automotive environment. You will support the development and maintenance of individual die tools used for automotive trim components.

This role involves handling sheet stainless steel with tight tolerances and Class A surfaces, focusing on reducing downtime and enhancing tool efficiency.

Design, develop, and maintain tooling for automotive trim components.

Support and ensure the efficient operation of die tools.

Work with sheet stainless steel, maintaining tight tolerances and Class A surfaces.

Identify and solve problems to minimize downtime.

Implement process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency.

Tooling engineering experience in an automotive setting.

Expertise in handling Class A surfaces.

Proficiency with tight and precision tolerances.

Experience with die stamping, including individual, transition, or progressive types.

Experience with stainless steel applications.

Familiarity with deep draw stamping processes.

Strong problem-solving abilities.

Process improvement skills.

The role is primarily plant-based, with some time spent in an office setting. The environment is fast-paced, focusing on creating efficiencies in the manufacturing process.

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $60.00/hr.
