Tool And Die Designer
Oversee tooling design and build to produce custom parts for Automotive OEMs. Communicate with customers to address engineering issues and keep schedules on time. Manage work orders, routings, ECNs and BOMs. Adhere to APQP process and procedures including FEMA, flow diagram and control plan. Act as liaison between Engineering, Die Shop, Quality and Production teams, address any issues with die assembly or part manufacturing. Assist tool room personnel with troubleshooting production tooling.
MUST HAVES:
5+ years of Tool & Die Design experience
3D Design experience: Unigraphics NX is used, open to experience with other CAD packages
Metals manufacturing: stamping or progressive dies
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering OR related experience as die making journeyman & tool design
NICE TO HAVES:
Experience interacting with end customers strongly preferred
Automotive OEM experience
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
