Test Engineering Technician

Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented technician to set up, test, and troubleshoot UPS systems. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the Manufacturing & Test Manager and collaborate with other Test Technicians to ensure compliance with standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems.
• Perform product testing and operation.
• Operate switchgears, switchboards, and load banks.
• Open and close AC/DC circuit breakers.
• Interact with customers during Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
• Ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks.
• Assist the Test Engineer with daily tasks and provide backup support as needed.
• Engage in work related to continuous improvement activities.

Essential Skills

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Experience with high voltage testing is a major plus.
• Effective communication skills in both written and oral English.
• Good computer skills with proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Ability to use basic electronic test and measurement equipment, such as DVMs, Digital Power meters, and oscilloscopes, and interpret results accurately.

Work Environment

This role is based at the Fairfield, OH facility and operates during the 2nd shift. The work environment includes the use of various electronic testing equipment, and adherence to safety standards is required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Fairfield, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
