Firmware Test Manager

We are seeking a Firmware Test Manager to lead our testing organization through a significant transformation. The role involves shifting from basic hardware/firmware testing to comprehensive integrated systems quality assurance. You will establish mature testing processes, implement industry best practices, and build a scalable system test framework. This framework will cover hardware, software, firmware, and end-to-end integrated systems testing. As a leader, you will manage a team of five QA testers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transformation from basic testing to comprehensive systems quality assurance.
• Establish and implement mature testing processes and industry best practices.
• Build a scalable system test framework that includes hardware, software, firmware, and integrated systems testing.
• Manage and lead a team of five QA testers in achieving testing goals and objectives.

Essential Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software, firmware, and hardware testing.
• 2+ years of experience in leading or managing teams.
• Proficiency in Python and test automation frameworks.
• Expertise in system testing, including wireless, Bluetooth, and IoT.
• Experience with both manual and automated testing methods.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with scripting languages, including Python.
• Proficiency with Jira for project management, defect tracking, and workflow automation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of various testing tools, including functional, performance, security, and hardware validation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
