Electrical Engineer - Must Be A Citizen

The Electrical Engineer will collaborate with internal and external customers to assist in the design and development of both new and existing products. This role involves providing processing-related technical customer support and researching new and improved methods for processing products. A thorough understanding of electronic assembly, including solder printing processes, pick & place, reflow thermal profiling, automatic inspection, cleaning, x-ray analysis, electrical/functional testing, and SMT troubleshooting, is essential.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external customers on product design and development.
• Provide technical support related to processing for customers.
• Research and implement new and improved processing methods.
• Understand and apply SMT electronic assembly processes such as solder printing, pick & place, and reflow thermal profiling.
• Conduct automatic inspections, cleaning, x-ray analysis, and electrical/functional testing.
• Troubleshoot SMT-related issues.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) experience.
• Engineering Degree or IPC-A-610 Certification.
• Experience in new product development or R&D projects.
• Thorough understanding of SMT electronic assembly and troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of IPC standards and hardware design.
• Familiarity with PCB and Surface Mount Technology.

Work Environment

The role is based in an R&D new product development manufacturing line, not a volume SMT line. Work hours are Monday to Friday, onsite from 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility to start earlier, from 7 AM to 4 PM if needed.

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
