Lead test development for new product introduction (NPI) and production programs. Develop work instructions and training processes for test technicians. Operate and program LabVIEW and NI TestStand systems. Perform dielectric testing, including high potential insulation and continuity, and use oscilloscopes. Conduct HALT/HASS testing, as well as vibration and thermal chamber tests. Document results and ensure compliance with AS9100 and MIL-SPEC standards. Collaborate with manufacturing and design engineers to develop build-to-print processes. Drive improvements in test methods, data integrity, and troubleshooting.
This role is based onsite in an aerospace manufacturing facility. Employees work four 10-hour shifts, but may work on Fridays if necessary. The role requires being on the manufacturing floor 90% of the time, and salaried employees do not have structured breaks. The team fosters a hands-on approach with a focus on solving new problems daily, and employees are part of a rapidly growing environment with exposure to a variety of new projects. You will work closely with one other test engineer and may have a test technician reporting to you.
This is a Permanent position based out of Columbus, Mississippi.
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
