Test Development Engineer
Our client, an electronics manufacturer, is looking to hire a Test Development Engineer, which involves leading the development of functional and system-level test strategies and solutions for diverse segments such as Aerospace & Defense, Health Tech, Smart Energy, and Industrial. You will be responsible for delivering these solutions to global production locations and supporting local site engineering during launches.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of test strategies and solutions for various industry segments.
- Deliver test solutions to global production locations and support engineering teams during launch.
- Drive development activities forward while contributing to team and project objectives.
- Design test processes and support the transition of these solutions into production operations.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of experience in both hardware and software testing.
- Expertise in hardware test and test development.
- Proficiency in LabVIEW and test engineering.
- Experience in manufacturing operations support, specifically in test development projects.
- Knowledge of Python and C++ programming.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Altium and Solidworks for fixture design.
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $43.00/hr.
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Newmarket, ON.
