Systems Test Engineer

Systems Test & Integration Engineer

This role is responsible for defining, integrating, and maturing test environment capabilities across the full engineering lifecycle for advanced missile defense systems. You will support requirements development, system-level test integration, and validation efforts while collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful transition from development to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and develop test requirements and test system capabilities supporting system verification and validation
• Support hardware integration activities, including validation testing and factory transition readiness
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, software, and test engineering teams to ensure seamless system-level integration
• Contribute to test planning, execution, and analysis across multiple phases of development
• Support risk identification and mitigation related to test infrastructure, cost, and schedule

Required Qualifications

• Experience defining test requirements and test system capabilities
• Hands-on experience supporting hardware integration, validation, and factory transitions
• Strong systems engineering mindset with proven cross-functional collaboration skills

Desired Qualifications

• Familiarity with modeling, simulation, prototyping, or test bed integration
• Experience identifying technology risks, cost drivers, or opportunities for affordability improvements
• Ability to mentor teammates and support implementation efforts on large-scale development programs

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tucson, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
