Systems Engineer - Radar

Radar Principal Systems Engineer

We are seeking a Radar Principal Systems Engineer to support the Missile Defense Sensors (MDS) department. This team specializes in concept development, architectural design, requirements generation and flow-down, modeling and simulation, systems analysis, integration, testing, and evaluation of advanced missile defense and sensor systems.

As part of a collaborative engineering team, you will:

• Define radar system requirements and design architectures and algorithms to meet those requirements.
• Collaborate with software development teams to ensure effective implementation of radar capabilities.
• Analyze radar system performance data against requirements.
• Identify performance deficiencies and propose innovative solutions.
• Prototype new algorithms to enhance system performance.
• Present technical plans, designs, and performance results to internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Provide subject matter expertise to agile software development teams.

Focus areas may include:

• Electronic protection, signal processing, and applied mathematics
• Hypersonic threat defense
• Tracking, discrimination, search, and battle manager interfaces
• Radar calibration, diagnostics, and deployed site support
• Modeling and simulation of tactical software

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100.00 - $130.00/hr.
