This position offers a unique opportunity to work on the full development of a brand-new regional aircraft, entirely made from composites and designed for enhanced aerodynamics. Responsibilities include ensuring that the architecture of the systems, during development and throughout their life cycle, complies with customer requirements. Develop complex equipment systems in accordance with applicable guidelines such as ARP4754A. Design and integrate landing gear components, assemblies, and systems to meet customer requirements. Identify component and system characteristics with respect to their individual requirements. Clearly identify, document, and track compliance with regulatory authority systems regulations and customer requirements.
Essential skills include 1-10+ years working as a systems engineer with experience in landing gear, flight controls, or brake systems. Must have worked with ARP475 guidelines. Experience working and dealing with suppliers is also required.
Additional skills and qualifications include 10+ years of experience in landing gears, control systems, or hydromechanical systems. Must be willing to go permanent after 9 months.
You will be part of a team of 5 other systems engineers in an open environment that is very family-oriented and team-oriented. If someone is having difficulty with a task that is not part of your job, you are expected to help out because that is the kind of culture they have.
This is a Contract position based out of LAVAL, QC. The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr. This is a fully onsite position in LAVAL, QC.
