Systems Engineer

The Systems Engineer will be part of a team of engineers developing capabilities for the Smart Displays products. This role will be involved in requiring broad expertise in electronic hardware, software, mechanical and optical designs operating in the ground-combat systems environment. The Systems Engineer needs to be able to work with internal and external customers to assure that our products meet end-user needs in the most cost-effective way possible.

Responsibilities:

• Perform requirements analysis and traceability of product specifications to customer requirements to verify compliance.
• Author technical proposal content.
• Manage customer interactions and control project scope.
• Conduct end-user needs analysis to inform product definition and capabilities.
• Develop and analyze requirements to inform cost-benefit trade-offs.
• Create design documentation tracing to requirements.
• Design and develop Systems Integration Lab.
• Plan verification processes.

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of systems engineering experience
• Experienced in software/hardware (Electronics).
• Experience in system level testing.
• Proficiency in Requirements Management, Gathering, Analysis, etc. (DOORS preferred).

Assets:

• Aerospace/Defense (avionics, land, satcom, naval, etc.).

Work Environment:

The position offers a hybrid work environment with 3 days per week on-site, providing flexibility in terms of days. The work week consists of 37.5 hours. You will be part of a team of 3 systems engineers, working collaboratively to achieve project goals.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $48.00/hr.
