Our client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to assist in maintenance and routine service of our remote controlled devices. The qualified candidate will require mechanical skills, electrical integration skills, and assembly experience. You will be part of a larger development effort working independently in a highly collaborative environment.
This role is within an iterative environment where you can drive innovation and apply state-of-the-art technologies to solve real world delivery challenges and provide benefits to customers.
KPI: Maintenance knowledge, Drone/Aviation Mechanics
Leadership Principle: Ownership, and Insist on the Highest Standards Aviation, Technical Skills, Resource Management
MUST HAVES:
Technical background, mechanical, electrical, etc.
Detailed knowledge of basic computer concepts PC hardware and software troubleshooting and workstation desktop/laptop hardware.
Experience supporting Windows XP/7 and Server operating systems in a managed desktop environment.
Solid knowledge of networks including Ethernet TCP/IP and Windows Server networking.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
NICE TO HAVES:
Drone Maintenance Experience, Aviation background (drones, helicopter, fixed wing planes etc.)
Experience supporting Macintosh OS X 10.4
Basic working knowledge of Linux/UNIX systems Red Hat preferable at a user level.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
