Supplier Quality Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team in the aerospace industry. This role requires extensive experience in supplier quality engineering with a strong emphasis on industry standards and quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent supplier audits to ensure compliance with AS9100 standards.
• Manage supplier performance and maintain quality standards through comprehensive audits.
• Develop and implement Corrective Action Plans (CAPAs) and root cause analyses to address and resolve quality issues.
• Support the transition of suppliers internationally with a willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time, mainly across the Midwest.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate supplier development and quality improvement projects.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5-10+ years of experience in supplier quality engineering, preferably within the aerospace industry.
• Strong working knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, CAPAs, CASCARs, FAIRs, PPAPs, and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Proven experience in conducting supplier audits and managing supplier performance.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

• Supplier development experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $64.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
