Structural Engineer

As a Structural Engineer, you will serve in a lead technical role on design for transportation projects, focusing on complex structural planning, analysis, and design for all structural aspects of transportation and facility projects. Your role will involve client presentations, proposal preparation, estimating project costs, and contract negotiations. You will oversee and ensure that project quality, schedule, and budget requirements are met. Additionally, you will assist in directing and coordinating activities on transportation engineering projects to ensure that project goals and objectives are accomplished.

Responsibilities

• Establish work plans and multi-disciplinary staffing for each phase of a project.
• Direct and coordinate the activities of a team of engineers and technicians to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
• Supervise a team of junior engineers.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 4-10 years of experience in structural analysis, design, and plan development of new and rehabilitation projects.
• Experience with design of DOT and MTA projects.
• Proficiency in Microstation, AutoCAD, SAP2000, OpenBridge.
• PE License.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working on Design-Build projects.
• Proven skills in structural bridge design and design-build transportation projects.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of New York, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
