Structural Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer in Houston, Texas, with expertise in Staad Foundations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in the industry, particularly within the oil and gas sector.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural design for foundations using Staad Pro and Staad Foundations.
• Conduct structural analysis and design in the oil and gas industry.
• Quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) of work for subcontractors, including geotechnical assessments.

Essential Skills:

• 8-20 years of experience as a civil/structural engineer in oil and gas.
• 8+ years of experience with Staad Pro/Staad Foundations.
• Proficient in foundation design and structural engineering.
• Experience in structural analysis.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• P.E. certification is highly preferred.
• Experience in QA/QC for subcontractors.

Work Environment:

The role is based in an office setting, requiring 4 days a week with a 40-hour workweek. Our company offers a growing environment with benefits including paid time off (PTO) and holiday leave.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $90.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
