Structural Engineer

Join a multi-discipline engineering consultant firm located in Lakewood as a Structural Engineer. You will be responsible for designing and calculating wood-framed structures, producing designs for commercial, residential, and light industrial buildings.

Design and calculate wood-framed structures.

Produce designs for commercial, residential, and light industrial buildings.

Collaborate with the structural lead for project guidance and mentorship.

At least 2 years of structural design experience specifically in wood-framed structures as an Engineer in Training (EIT).

Proficiency in structural design and engineering.

Experience with AutoCAD and structural analysis.

Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.

Experience in design for steel and concrete structures is a plus.

Work directly under the structural lead in a small firm setting with a team of four. Enjoy a flexible work schedule with the option to work four 10-hour days from Monday to Thursday, and take Fridays off. This role provides an excellent opportunity to grow towards a project manager position while learning under the current structural lead.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $43.00/hr.
