As a Structural Engineer, you will perform structural analysis and design for various building systems, including steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and foundations. You will prepare structural calculations, drawings, and technical specifications, ensuring compliance with building codes, standards, and client requirements. You will coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and other consultants throughout all project phases and review shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs during construction. Additionally, you will conduct site visits, provide construction-phase support, assist with project scheduling, scope development, and coordination meetings, and support junior engineers while contributing to technical quality control.

This employee-owned company, established in 1979, provides a collaborative work environment with a multidisciplinary team offering mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, curtain wall, and civil services. The company has offices in Minneapolis, MN, Naperville, and downtown Chicago, with the largest teams located in Naperville and Chicago. The business casual dress code complements the flexible work schedule, which includes'summer hours' year-round: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM Monday to Thursday, and a half-day on Friday from 7:30 AM to Noon. Employees work in-office three days a week and from home two days, with flexibility in attendance. The office is conveniently located less than five minutes from the I-88 / Rt. 59 interchange, with a parking lot available. A kitchen with a microwave is available for employee use. Current projects mainly involve tenant improvement, community developments, mixed-use, and commercial buildings.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.08/hr.
