As a structural engineer, you will serve in a lead technical role on the design for transportation projects, such as bridges. You will perform complex structural planning, analysis, and design for all structural aspects of transportation and facility projects. Your role will include client presentations, proposal preparation, estimating project costs, and contract negotiations. You will oversee and ensure that project quality, schedule, and budget requirements are met. Additionally, you will assist in directing and coordinating activities on transportation engineering projects to ensure project goals and objectives are accomplished. You will establish work plans and multi-disciplinary staffing for each project phase and direct and coordinate the activities of engineers and technicians to ensure project progress on schedule and within the prescribed budget. Supervising a team of junior engineers will also be part of your responsibilities.
