Sr. Engineer

We are currently hiring for a cleared Sr. Engineer with a marine/shipyard background.

Will be supporting ship repair, maintenance, and overhaul projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:

• BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear, Civil, Marine, Ocean Engineering or Naval Architecture.
• Active Secret Clearance. (Confidential Clearance can be considered as well)
• 10 years of recent experience in the operation, maintenance, design, or testing of U.S. Navy or military type ship's components.
• Working knowledge of shipboard habitability standards and conditions. This can include Hull outfitting arrangements, potable water, seawater flushing, soil drains, gray water drains (CHT), electrical lighting and general components of these areas of ship. Crew, troop, and officer Berthing spaces, Sanitary spaces, and commissary spaces are description of types of spaces.
• Working experience and knowledge of the engineering aspects of the ship modernization process including ship surveys, design, material requirements, specifications, and material procurement sources.

Additional Information:

• 1 step interview process.
• Will be working onsite in Hampton, VA.
• Pay Rate: $55-$65/hr based on experience.
• Need to be eligible for a CAC card.

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
