Electrical Engineer - Power Electronics

The Power Electronics Test Validation team is looking for an Electrical Engineer specifically with Power Electronics for EV and renewable energy expertise.

MUST HAVES:

• Strong understanding of power electronics topologies and control.
• Minimum 5 years experience with strong hands-on and troubleshooting skills in testing and verifications of power electronics systems, including the use of lab equipment (battery simulators, power supplies, E-loads, scope, etc.).
• Minimum 5 years experience with strong technical writing and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
• Review schematic, PCB designs, calculation and simulation of power electronics converters.
• Conduct the verification and validation tests for power electronics systems, ensuring compliance with industry and requirements.
• Capability to analyze the root-cause of the power electronics system and drive R&D activities independently.

NICE TO HAVES:

• M. S degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in power electronics development and testing.
• Solid understanding of power electronics fundamentals.
• Knowledge of automotive requirements.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $62.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
