Software Test Engineer

Join our team as a Software Test Engineer where you will focus on developing design verification and production test systems for newly developed products. Your role is crucial in ensuring that these products meet the necessary performance, quality, and reliability standards. You will engage in technical, multi-disciplined tasks aimed at improving product quality and performance. This includes historical data analysis, test design, documentation, and implementation/validation of equipment and process changes.

Responsibilities

• Develop design verification and production test systems.
• Perform technical tasks to enhance product quality and performance.
• Conduct historical data analysis and test design.
• Document and implement equipment and process changes.
• Participate in Scrum meetings and collaborate with team members in an open-space environment.
• Develop test stands from scratch with heavy programming in LabView.
• Interface with prototypes and products using LabView for calibrating and circuit evaluations.
• Build and troubleshoot code as necessary.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of experience in test engineering, particularly with LabView programming.
• Proficiency in LabView programming from day one, without the need for additional training.
• Experience in testing prototypes and interfacing with products.
• Familiarity with Python programming for bridging gaps with new products.
• Basic understanding of CoPilot.
• Capability to document system requirements and create Bills of Materials for test systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Background in Electrical Engineering with an interest in mechanical systems.
• Certification in LabVIEW such as CLD or CLA is beneficial.
• CTD and CTA certifications are advantageous.
• Familiarity with single board computers based on Linux.
• Knowledge of MATLAB and optical methodologies is a plus.
• Experience with software testing and programming languages.

Work Environment

You will work onsite five days a week in a collaborative and open-space environment in Loveland. Our organization is committed to protecting water resources and driving sustainability. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Loveland, Colorado.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
