Software Quality Engineer
The Software Quality Engineer will coach staff and provide detailed quality reviews of documents before submission. This role requires ensuring clarity of content, compliance with procedures, and providing objective evidence with a clear summary of conclusions and outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Coach staff on quality standards and document review processes.
- Conduct detailed quality reviews of submission documents to ensure compliance and clarity.
- Serve as an expert in software and systems life cycle controls for both waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Document requirements including User and System requirements, software classification, and risk assessment.
- Develop and review V&V Plans and Reports.
- Manage compliant handling of PHI and PII data.
- Demonstrate excellent technical writing skills to produce clear and concise documentation.
Essential Skills
- Expertise in software validation and quality assurance.
- In-depth knowledge of software and systems life cycle controls in waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in documenting requirements, software classification, and risk assessment.
- Strong understanding of ISO/IEC standards.
- Excellent technical writing skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Working knowledge of ISO/IEC standards.
- Ability to identify and incorporate required content into software requirements and report documents.
Work Environment
The role involves working in a collaborative environment where attention to detail and compliance with standards is crucial. The candidate will be expected to manage sensitive data including PHI and PII with utmost confidentiality. The work schedule is standard business hours, and the dress code is business casual.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Golden Valley, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
