Senior Software Engineer - Unreal

As a Software Engineer specializing in Unreal Engine, you will play a pivotal role in shaping innovative solutions from concept to implementation. You will be responsible for designing and developing Unreal Engine applications and advanced immersive technologies. Collaborating closely with a team of experts in a dynamic environment, you will tackle complex challenges, optimize performance, and ensure seamless integration with various real-time platforms. Your contributions will help drive the evolution of spatial computing, enhancing user experiences and pushing the boundaries of what's possible in this exciting field.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex problems in real-time systems using Unreal Engine, sensor fusion, simulation, and spatial computing.
• Contribute to the design and development of innovative solutions for client projects and internal products.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to drive project success and enhance client experiences.

Essential Skills

• Deep experience working in Unreal Engine and several native features such as Replication, Mass, and Chaos.
• Proficiency in C++ and Blueprints Visual Scripting.
• Knowledge of spatial computing and multiplatform environments.
• Experience with training, simulation, and gaming technologies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in the Training & Simulation or Gaming industries.
• Experience with various headsets such as Meta Quest, HTC Vive, Magic Leap, and Apple Vision Pro.
• Experience in a high autonomy startup environment, showcasing adaptability and discipline.
• Enthusiasm for innovation in immersive experiences and a drive to constantly push creative boundaries.

Work Environment

Due to the nature of our work, it is mandatory that you are eligible to obtain a security clearance and able to comply with Government regulations. Our projects involve hands-on work with specialized hardware at our lab, making it essential that you reside in or near the Orlando, FL area and can commute as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $64.00/hr.
