Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong experience in One Semi-Automated Forces (OneSAF) development and integration. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced modeling and simulation capabilities for defense applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Agile development practices and a deep understanding of simulation architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain OneSAF software components and related simulation functionality.
• Collaborate with end users, government customers, and subject matter experts to define requirements and implement new features.
• Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups.
• Conduct integration and testing of OneSAF components to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues across development and test environments.
• Utilize modern development tools and practices to ensure code quality and maintainability.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Hands-on experience with OneSAF development and integration.
• Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming (Java preferred) and simulation frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum experience a plus).
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Git, Enterprise Architect, Eclipse, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $52.00 - $62.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
