Software Engineer

We are seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to a critical short-term project, supporting documentation and independent code reviews for Level A systems under DO-178C standards. This project is essential for meeting a Q1 customer deadline, including an SOI 4 audit.

Responsibilities:

• Perform documentation work for Level A systems nearing final DDP.
• Conduct independent reviews and act as Designated Verification Engineer (DVE).
• Review embedded C code for compliance with requirements (no microcontroller programming).
• Support certification efforts under DO-178C.

Essential Skills:

• Strong proficiency in C programming.
• Experience with embedded systems on bare-metal platforms (STMicroelectronics microcontrollers).
• Documentation and verification experience preferred.
• U.S. or permanent resident (ITAR compliance).

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree not required with relevant experience.

Work Environment:

This position requires on-site presence in Harleysville, PA, five days a week. It is a short-term contract lasting approximately three months. The role involves working closely with Level A systems and participating actively in meeting a critical Q1 customer deadline, which includes an SOI 4 audit by the end of March.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
