Networking Software Engineer

Join a dynamic team focused on enhancing the serviceability of networking products. As part of the team, you will design and test software features and verify that new features meet expectations. This role requires quick adaptation to new code bases and processes across a diverse portfolio of products.

Responsibilities

• Design and test software features for serviceability enhancement.
• Verify new features and ensure they work as designed.
• Scope expected behavior of new features.
• Adapt quickly to new code bases and processes.
• Communicate effectively with team members and external business entities.

Skills

• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Strong networking setup and troubleshooting skills.
• Core programming language: Java- Must Have!
• Proficiency in multiple object-oriented languages such as Python, C/C++, and Golang.
• Experience in software development within a Linux environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic virtualization knowledge, including virtual machines and Docker.
• Experience with Agile software development.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Eagerness to learn new concepts and technologies.
• Must be a US Citizen due to the nature of the work.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
