Software Engineer

We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join our software team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in software development, specifically with Python frameworks such as Flask or Django. This role focuses on object-oriented design and programming, as well as web application and web services development.

Responsibilities:

• Develop web applications using Python frameworks such as Flask or Django.
• Implement object-oriented design and programming practices.
• Engage in web services development, including REST and MQTT.
• Collaborate with team members to design and develop software solutions.

Essential Skills:

• 1+ years of Python experience, including frameworks such as Flask or Django.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design and programming.
• Experience in web application software development.
• Proficiency in web services development with REST and MQTT.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with Kubernetes and/or containerized application development.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as Postgres (AlloyDB), Big Query, and Redis.
• Skills in GUI design, usability testing, and design tools.
• Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript (preferably TypeScript), and CSS.
• Familiarity with web application frameworks such as Angular and Aurelia.

Work Environment:

The role requires working onsite on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. The work environment is collaborative, with opportunities to engage in cutting-edge software development technologies and frameworks.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Permanent position based out of Westminster, CO.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr. 401k w match, ESPP w discount, Vacation, PTO, VTO. Better benefits than most small companies because they are managed by parent company $3B Roper Tech.

This is a hybrid position in Westminster, CO.
