Hiring Site/Civil Engineers for a top-tier nationally recognized employee-owner engineering firm with a strong very NYC footprint. Known for complex and environmental work across the metro area. Strong reputation with private and public agencies, a healthy project pipeline and are investing heavily in growing their technical teams.

Responsibilities:

- Prepares the planning, design and permitting documents of renewable energy land development and infrastructure projects in close collaboration with Project

- Personnel using engineering and design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.) and equipment;

- Leads tasks associated with the preparation and modification of various engineering documents including reports, specifications, plans, cost estimates and designs for projects.

- Writes and/or reviews draft reports, including feasibility studies, stormwater management reports, technical specifications, and utility reports;

- Collaborates with team members on project tasks and assignments

Qualifications:

• Experienced with Civil engineering, land development, and or stormwater
• Proficient in Software: Civil 3D or AutoCAD, Revit is a PLUS
• Experience with site/civil design, including site planning, grading, stormwater management, drainage, infrastructure, erosion and sediment control
• Expertise in stormwater management design, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis and design, and SWPPP preparation

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Must have EIT and plans to get PE within a year

- 4+ years of prior relevant professional experience in site/civil design, including site planning, grading, storm water management, drainage, and soil erosion

- Revit

This is a Permanent position based out of Melville, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $110000.00/yr.

Full benefits package, including medical, vision, dental, 401k match, PTO/holiday, tuition reimbursements and yearly bonuses.
