Systems Engineer
We are seeking a Systems Engineering Leader with a focus on design to facilitate the transition from an old Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool to a new one. This role involves collaborating with global product teams to assist with the migration, introducing new features, designs, and standardized processes. The position plays a central role in reviewing processes, gathering feedback, and implementing best practices in change management.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the definition of incremental features for the new Systems Engineering Application Lifecycle Management tool.
- Gather stakeholder inputs and best practice implementations from key product teams.
- Define and propose a draft'standard work' including process definitions, training packages, and tool configurations.
- Communicate new standard processes to the user community and triage feedback for improvements.
- Submit formal change requests and oversee their deployment.
- Create summaries explaining when to enforce standard work versus accepting tailored local practices.
- Develop and deploy training materials, monitor user requests, and iterate development steps as needed.
- Collaborate with design leads to identify feature clusters and explain their implementations.
- Work with design teams to understand country-specific requirements impacting the program and tool.
Essential Skills:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in systems engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience working with ALM tools.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in product development and design engineering.
- Strong ability to work within a cross-functional, global project team.
- Familiarity with industry design, regulatory, and safety standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Master of Science Degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Over 10 years of work experience in the design and product development of medical devices.
- Knowledge of medical device regulatory and safety standards, including ISO, FDA, and IEC60601 series.
- Experience leveraging external organizations and university resources.
- Ability to interpret and explain complex technical information.
- Experience in influencing and teaching technical subject matter related to Systems Engineering.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $100.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
