Systems Engineer

The Systems Engineer will engage in various engineering activities to ensure successful product development and integration, timely execution of programs, and total customer satisfaction. This role is pivotal to our success, particularly in the domain of avionic products (Electronic Warfare Self-Protection Systems). Responsibilities include interfacing with stakeholders, developing requirements, architecture and design, integration, and verification. Contributions may also involve creating or improving plans and procedures, generating and presenting briefings, and providing leadership within specific projects.

Responsibilities:

• Identify customer and stakeholder requirements.
• Generate system requirements and ensure traceability, management, and compliance.
• Develop novel system architecture.
• Lead system integration and verification testing.
• Conduct various analyses, trade studies, and problem resolution.
• Participate in peer review of work products.
• Support engineering proposals.
• Develop engineering documentation.
• Generate and present project/customer briefings.

Essential Skills:

• Extensive experience in requirements management and systems integration software.
• Expertise in Electronic Warfare.
• Experience interfacing with customers to derive requirements and flow them to the technical team through the full life cycle, including systems integration and verification & validation (V&V).
• Proficient with DOORS and a strong understanding of process flow.
• Hands-on experience with systems integration and V&V.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• BS Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of industry experience in Electronic Warfare from a Systems Engineering perspective.
• Strong customer-facing skills for understanding client requirements and translating them to the technical team.
• Experience with other related requirements management tools is considered.
• Strong skills in a Systems Integration Lab (SIL).
• Eligibility to obtain Secret Clearance.

Work Environment:

The position is based in an office environment onsite at Robins Air Force Base. The work involves handling highly classified information. The role offers a flexible work schedule with two days per week working from home and three days in the office. Additionally, employees benefit from a 9/80 schedule, providing every other Friday off. The company offers a strong 401k package.

This is a Permanent position based out of Warner Robins, GA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $175000.00 - $205000.00/yr. Health, dental, vision, 401k, flex work schedule + remote flex.
