Remote Senior Mechanical Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering. The role demands a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, with a preference for candidates who are Professional Engineers (P.E.). The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in CAD and Revit, proficiency in 3D modeling, and a solid understanding of engineering analysis tools. The position requires excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts, as well as strong client-facing and relationship-building abilities. In-depth knowledge of Building and Mechanical Codes and Standards is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee multiple engineering projects simultaneously.
• Design and implement Fire Life Safety systems.
• Utilize Direct Digital Controls (DDC) and Building Automation Systems.
• Conduct energy audits and participate in ASHRAE levels 1-3 auditing.
• Engage in the design of renewable energy systems.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.

Essential Skills

• 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD and Revit.
• Strong understanding of engineering analysis tools.
• Effective communication of complex technical concepts.
• Client management and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of Building and Mechanical Codes and Standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Fire Life Safety system design.
• Proficiency in Direct Digital Controls (DDC) and Building Automation Systems.
• Auditing experience, ASHRAE levels 1-3.
• Renewable energy design experience.
• Proficiency in Revit, CEM, and Equest.
• CxA certification is a plus.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $200000.00/yr. 401k, pto, flexible work environment, bonuses
