Business Development Professional
Hiring a Business Development professional to expand footprint and drive new revenue in environmental consulting. This role is ideal for someone who already understands environmental services buyers, procurement cycles, and the NYC-area client ecosystem, and who is motivated by building relationships, uncovering needs, and closing work.
Responsibilities:
- Own the full new business lifecycle; prospect, discovery, proposal and close
- Identify and pursue opportunities across core services lines (IH)
- Build and maintain a pipeline through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking and targeted outreach.
- Maintain accurate sales activity records
- Collaborate closely with marketing and internal teams

- Work with an established, NYC-based environmental consulting firm that has been trusted for decades across complex, multi-jurisdictional projects.
- Firm started in 1988 and since then has developed into a team of strong investigation and management professionals specializing in a wide array of environmental issues
- Combines nearly thirty years of experience in providing environmental consulting services in support of billions of dollars' worth of construction and development management projects
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Environmental industry experience preferred
- 2+ years of experience
- Strong written/verbal communication
- Existing relationships with target client groups in environmental services ecosystem preferred
- Comfort navigating regulatory environments

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
