MUST Haves:
- Must have integration experience; Setting up robots from the factory, additional axis set up, EOAT set up, vision set up and other initial commissioning tasks.
- Must have FANUC or Kawasaki robot experience
- Exposure to cycle time improvement initiatives and application optimization. Use experience to optimize the robot application to meet customer requirements.
- Familiar with robot peripheral devices such as vision equipment - specifically Fanuc IRVision 3DV.
- Possesses effective oral and written communication skills.
- Assists with client, customer, or official contacts and communication pertaining to specific assignments or meetings.
- Must be able to work during the holiday season (Shutdown)
Job Responsibilities:
Teach TCPs, Frames, Loads, DCS (Safety Configuration)
Configure robot I/O (including communications)
Set up and configure various types of dispense process equipment within paint shop and general assembly applications
Set up and configure various types of vision equipment including robot mounted as well as floor mounted systems
Development of Offline Programs (OLPs)
Develop simulations with one or more platforms for internal and external process validations
Demonstrated competency with one or more robot applications:
- Material Handling
- Dispense (Urethane, Sealer, Adhesive, Paint)
Tool Center Points
User Frames, Base Frames and Work Objects
External Axis
Offline programming software
General Motors LOTO/MPS certification with proof of certificate is required
Travel - Travel for this position is required for installation and production support. Appx 25% but could be longer depending on the project. Frequency would generally be bi-weekly trips but can last a longer duration when out of state. Local and Out of State, Projects include Ford OHAP (Ohio) and GM SLP & GM Silao

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $48.00/hr.
