Rf Engineer

The RF Engineer will lead the engineering development, prototyping, design verification, and transition to production of complex analog, digital, and radio frequency products. This role is vital in fostering innovation and ensuring the seamless integration of engineering processes.

Responsibilities include:

• Working cross-functionally across the organization including program management, procurement, operations, manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, test, production, business development, and contracts.
• Creating innovative ideas in support of internal research and development.
• Generating and implementing improvements in product design and test throughput.
• Interfacing directly with customers and suppliers to support technical issues.
• Providing training, mentorship, and leadership to engineering and test staff.
• Researching and applying electrical engineering principles and theories to solve customer problems.
• Supporting full program life cycles, including concept, specification, prototype, production, and sustainment.
• Leading teams of design engineers using established design and development process models such as CMMI or Six Sigma for Design.
• Creating, reviewing, and approving Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Requests for Variances (RFVs).
• Supporting and leading systems engineering, software engineering, and mechanical engineering efforts.
• Creating and updating corporate and engineering processes and procedures.
• Performing other functions as needed to support the company's goals.

Essential Skills include a Bachelor of Science degree from a four-year accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering or related field. Prior experience with RF components and knowledge of PCB projects, including design of the board, schematic, circuit, schematic capture, and CAD are required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications include experience in military or defense-related projects and familiarity with design and development process models such as CMMI or Six Sigma for Design.

The RF Engineer will work in a team of seven other Electrical Engineers on current and future Department of Defense level projects. The work environment includes both office settings and electronics manufacturing floors.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lititz, Pennsylvania.

The pay range for this position is $28.85/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. This is a fully onsite position in Lititz, PA.
