Reliability Engineer

This position is based at a brand new facility built in 2022, renowned as the most up-to-date location in its field. The site is fully automated and specializes in bath and shower insert products. As a Maintenance Planner, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency of the Maintenance Team by planning and scheduling work and maintenance activities. You will also assist with unplanned repairs by identifying resources and expediting materials required to complete tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Review work orders for accuracy, completeness, and clarity, and take corrective actions as needed.
• Assess job priority and status before entering into the backlog in accordance with established procedures.
• Analyze work requirements, methods, and craft needs; issue sub-orders and maintain overall job coordination.
• Gather and secure all necessary technical details, safety measures, utility requirements, and production clearances.
• Prepare a complete planning package for each work order and review with Maintenance leadership.
• Determine approximate start dates for work orders based on priority in consultation with Production and Maintenance teams.
• Submit and review schedules with Maintenance supervision.
• Adjust plans and revise weekly schedules when major scope changes occur after work begins.
• Follow formal procedures to close jobs upon completion.
• Host two weekly meetings: Backlog Review on Tuesday and Planning & Scheduling on Thursday.
• Monitor documentation and reports for accuracy and timeliness; take corrective action as needed.
• Provide requested information and submit exception reports as required.

Essential Skills:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Maintenance Planning and Production Planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 1 year experience with SAP.
• Experience in ensuring formal report accuracy, timeliness, and utility on computers.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

• Ability to communicate effectively and be self-directed.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work 8-hour shifts involving sitting, standing, bending, twisting, and lifting.

Work Environment:

The work environment is a very clean manufacturing setting where PPE including hard hats, boots, and glasses are required on the floor. The shift is from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute unpaid lunch. This is a Contract position based out of Casa Grande, AZ.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
