Top Skills: Proficiency in CMM programming software (PC-DMIS, Calypso, etc.), strong understanding of GD&T and precision measurement tools, ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Description:

Program and operate CMM equipment (e.g., Zeiss, Mitutoyo, Hexagon) using software such as PC-DMIS or Calypso. Perform dimensional inspections on components and assemblies to verify conformance to engineering drawings and specifications. Develop and maintain inspection programs, fixtures, and documentation. Interpret GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and engineering drawings accurately. Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conforming parts. Maintain calibration records and ensure measuring equipment is in compliance. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues. Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality audits.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Experience with aerospace, automotive, or defense industry standards. Knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality systems. Familiarity with SPC (Statistical Process Control) and data analysis.

Job Type & Location:

This is a contract position based out of Vero Beach, FL.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
