  • Write, implement, and maintain clear and effective quality procedures and process documentation.
  • Evaluate and improve quality processes by analyzing performance, identifying gaps, and recommending corrective and preventive actions.
  • Lead failure analysis and root cause analysis activities for in-process and field failures using globally recognized techniques, and document findings and corrective actions.
  • Support new product introduction by reviewing designs and documentation for robustness, ease of manufacturing, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Apply an electrical-mechanical assembly background to assess and improve quality of custom electro-mechanical designs, including printed circuit boards and custom cable/harness assemblies.
  • Coordinate internal audits in support of third-party certifications and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead third-party, customer, and supplier audits performed to recognized standards, and ensure timely follow-up and resolution of all issues identified.
  • Work closely with technicians, engineers, and manufacturing teams to develop and update process documentation, clarify work instructions, and deepen understanding of production processes.
  • Ensure production employees receive appropriate training on safety and quality processes.
  • Support and promote safety and quality initiatives such as 5S, ESD, and FOD programs.
  • Participate in design reviews to ensure quality requirements, manufacturability, and compliance with applicable standards.
  • Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout manufacturing, ensuring that documentation and records accurately reflect product and process status.

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience writing and maintaining quality procedures and process documentation.
  • Strong background in quality process evaluation and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience with printed circuit boards, custom cable and harness assemblies, and software-based products is preferred.
  • Exposure to Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) or similar structured quality planning methodologies.
  • Experience coordinating and supporting third-party certifications.
  • Knowledge and practical application of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to document and communicate findings clearly.
  • Attention to detail and a structured approach to process improvement and documentation.
