Quality Engineer

We're hiring a hands-on quality engineer who knows how a machine shop runs. This role is responsible for creating quality plans, CMM programming, and GD&T interpretation for tight-tolerance aerospace and semiconductor parts. Additional responsibilities include:

• Program and release CMM inspection programs (Verisurf or Calypso preferred)
• Build inspection plans for FAI, in-process, final, and receiving inspection
• Interpret complex drawings and apply GD&T correctly
• Prepare and approve AS9102 first article inspections
• Own calibration and measurement control
• Support audits, customer returns, and corrective actions
• Work directly with manufacturing and engineering to manage risk and keep parts moving
• The employee will be required to follow any other instructions and perform any other duties requested by their supervisor

Job type & location: This is a contract to hire position based out of Georgetown, TX.

Pay and benefits: The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
