Quality Engineer II

The Quality Engineer II is a mid-level position focused on ensuring product quality through the completion of validation and qualification activities independently. This role is pivotal in meeting customer quality needs via cross-departmental collaboration and has minimal customer-facing interactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure product quality by executing validation and qualification activities with minimal assistance.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to meet customer quality needs.
  • Represent the quality function in the support of day-to-day manufacturing operations.
  • Address nonconforming products and generate reports, CAPAs, and documentation.
  • Implement process changes and drive improvements in assembly, machine production, and support.
  • Engage in injection molding and equipment management.

Essential Skills:

  • Expertise in quality engineering and CAPA processes.
  • Experience working with manufacturing engineers and supervisors.
  • Ability to use manufacturing software, spreadsheet software, Minitab or other statistical process control software, and Microsoft Office products.
  • Competency in using SolidWorks or other CAD software.
  • Working knowledge of design controls and Quality System Regulations.

  • Eagerness to learn and strong execution skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, personal, and communication skills.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
