Quality Engineer

We are seeking a Quality Engineer responsible for executing quality control activities at a fabrication shop for microelectronics capital projects. This role requires an experienced professional dedicated to ensuring the highest quality standards are met with minimal rework or delays. As a forward-thinking Quality Team Member, your expertise will be crucial in securing the expected quality of our products.

Responsibilities

• Execute quality control activities in the fabrication shop.
• Ensure high-quality product production with minimal rework or delays.
• Conduct welding inspections and quality assurance tasks.
• Perform supplier audits and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with the Quality Team to maintain ISO 9001 standards.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering.
• Proficiency in ISO 9001 standards.
• Experience with quality engineering and welding inspection.
• Ability to conduct supplier audits and perform root cause analysis.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or AWS certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and mechanical structures.

Work Environment

The work environment consists of a cubicle setting with occasional time spent on the floor. Minimal domestic travel is required. The role offers opportunities for growth and involvement in cool projects.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
