Intermediate Project Engineer
Our client, a large multi-disciplinary EPC in Vancouver is looking for an intermediate Project Engineer to join their team. This person will help support a pipeline project, 6kms of 2 pipelines running alongside each other. They will also lead a team of junior engineers, deal with clients on project deliverables and be expected to get involved technically. This person will be expected to work on several sustaining capital work and maintenance projects at once ranging from $50-$1M.
Qualifications:
8-12 yrs exp. as a Project Engineer
Mechanical/Piping background
EPC background
Experience working on maintenance projects/sustaining capital projects (facilities, pipelines)
Some greenfield and sustaining capital work
Experience leading a multi-discipline team
Worked on 3-4 small $50k to $1M projects on their own
Strong communication, dealt with clients facing roles before
Field experience must have familiarity of site.
Additional Skills:
PEng designation
Patience working with junior team members
Ability to guide/lead a team along all phases of a project
Very involved technically, to someone to delegate tasks
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $63.00 - $68.00/hr.
