Project Engineer
This role involves working on new construction and interior renovations, including embassies, multi-family residences, commercial spaces, and interior fit-outs. The Project Manager ensures projects are profitable and delivered on time, while fostering strong relationships with owners, vendors, and subcontractors.
Responsibilities
- Liaise between the owner, design team, and subcontractors.
- Ensure and confirm that trade Scopes of Work (SOWs) are clear and accurate.
- Accurately forecast project profitability.
- Coordinate directly with superintendents on manpower needs, SOWs, and work sequencing.
- Produce project schedules.
- Administer contract obligations.
- Ensure subcontractors are paid on time for monies earned.
- Coach and mentor Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers.
Essential Skills

- Strong communication skills for interacting with subcontractors
- Proficiency in MS Office programs and Building Connected Pro software
- Experience with change orders, RFIs, and commercial construction
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 1-5 years of experience in the field
- Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office software

This is a contract to hire position based out of Falls Church, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
