Project Engineer

Seeking a Project Engineer to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams in the development of advanced systems and technologies. This role supports complex programs involving system design, integration, testing, and performance verification across mission-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead engineering planning and execution across design, development, integration, and verification phases.
  • Manage cross-functional teams, including internal staff and subcontractors, to meet technical, schedule, and budget goals.
  • Coordinate with Program Managers, Chief Engineers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Drive systems engineering processes and lead milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR).
  • Support development of technical documentation, specifications, and interface control documents.
  • Oversee engineering inputs to program schedules and resource planning.
  • Represent engineering efforts in customer meetings, internal reviews, and proposal development.

Skills: project planning, pdr, SRR, CDR, TRR, verification, integration, Design, plm, windchill, project engineering.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field; 6+ years of experience (or equivalent).
  • Proven leadership in engineering project execution within space, defense, or aerospace domains.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, requirements flow-down, and verification/validation processes.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and suppliers in complex development efforts.
  • Familiarity with PLM tools (e.g., Windchill), requirements management systems, and DoD lifecycle planning.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and technical presentation skills.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
  • Prior experience with DoD or government programs strongly preferred.

Job Type & Location:

This is a permanent position based out of Acton, MA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $150,000.00 - $230,000.00/yr. Healthcare, Pension, 401(k)/Retirement Plans, Competitive Pay, Multiple product lines means a variety of work, Paid Time Off.
