Project Engineer
We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join our team in Timonium, MD. In this role, you will support our team in managing smaller interior tenant improvement (TI) renovation projects. You will receive training and mentorship from a Sr Project Manager and assist in the estimating process.
Responsibilities
- Create project budgets and schedules.
- Select and manage subcontractors.
- Provide communication and updates to the project team and client.
Essential Skills
- Experience in construction management for a general contractor (1+ years, including internships).
- Understanding of blueprints and drawings.
- Experience working with construction documents, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Proficiency in scheduling software and budget management.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience or understanding of project management, construction, construction management, project engineering, project coordination, and commercial construction.
- Exposure to estimation processes.
Work Environment
This position is based in the office in Timonium, MD, with a hybrid setup alongside the Property Management and Construction teams. You will also conduct site visits on projects, providing a dynamic and engaging work experience.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Lutherville Timonium, Maryland.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $80000.00/yr. PTO//Holiday/401k Match. Dental, Medical, Vision coverage.
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Lutherville Timonium, MD.
