Machinery Procurement Specialist

Candidate would be responsible for procuring and designing specifications of machines, robots and other similar equipment used for Battery Case Welding. Managing and working with machine vendors to confirm correct quality and specification of machines. Experience using AutoCAD and CATIA, C3, or another 3D design tool 2-5 years of experience in Manufacturing of Automotive Industry Duties include: Process Planning; Machine Specifications; Machine/ Equipment Procurement; Installation/ Trial Management; Project Management; Schedule Control; Budget Control/ Cost Reduction; Manufacturing Support/ Process Tracking Ability to work weekends, holidays, and off shifts as typical work is conducted at nonproduction times.

Additional Skills & Qualifications BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Proficient Computer Skills: MS Office, CAD packages (AutoCAD, Catia, C3) Manufacturing/ Processing Experience Additional Desired Qualifications: Bodyshop Engineering Experience, New Model Introduction experience. Up to 5 years Automotive/ Manufacturing Engineering Experience.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
