Electric Vehicle Inverter Program Manager

This position will be part of the Electric Vehicle products group and will be responsible for activity and support for Inverter programs. The purpose for the position will be to support activities to establish equipment, processes, and quotations for programs related to Inverter products. Overall requirements of the position are to ensure that production equipment runs to equipment specification and produces products based on the product specifications, and customer requirement, including ensuring that equipment is verified and qualified for mass production utilization. The specific area of expertise will be leading INV start-up projects and coordinating personnel.

This position offers opportunities to work with a wide variety of aspects of the manufacturing processes, a wide variety of departments and levels of management within the company both domestic and international. Essential functions of this job include:

  • (7-10) years of experience leading large CAPEX manufacturing projects ($5M–$20M+), with emphasis on equipment installation and facility integration, including budget development, approval workflows, and project documentation.
  • Experience in managing equipment suppliers and system integrators—writing and finalizing equipment specifications, confirming equipment readiness, localizing equipment, and supporting formal line approval processes.
  • Proven ability to own project schedules end-to-end, anticipate risks, and execute contingency plans (Plan B / Plan C) to keep line installations and launches on track.
  • Broad manufacturing process knowledge with the maturity to step into a lead role, guide new inverter line setups, and learn existing systems while maintaining accountability for delivery.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to make quick, accurate, data driven decisions and utilize excellent problem-solving skills.

• Able to lead a team of people

• Work experience within automotive industry, with emphasis in electro/mechanical device

• Knowledge of APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, etc.

• Ability to lead projects obtaining the support of multiple departments and organization

• Able to prepare schedules, budget, make reports

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenfield, IN.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $52.88 - $62.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
